The Jamaica Stock Exchange Group seeks to identify two (2) highly motivated professionals to fill the following position: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.

In addition to providing professional administrative and secretarial support to the Executive, the Administrative Assistant will be required to liaise with representatives of Listed Companies, Member Firms, Legal Counsels, International Exchanges and the general public. The incumbent who should possess strong communication skills will be required to record and reproduce Minutes of meetings.
Having high regard for accuracy and the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement, the Administrative Assistant should be able to conduct research to support the operations of the Division. Additionally, the incumbent should ensure that confidentiality and efficient records management practices are maintained.

Specific Requirements & Competencies:

The holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Management (or equivalent) with professional administrative training, the incumbent should have at least three years professional experience and should:

• Be proficient in computer applications and possess excellent time management skills.

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• possess high regard for accuracy and detail-oriented.

• be able to exercise sound judgement and maintain calm under pressure.

Knowledge of the JSE, JCSD and JCSDTS operational policies and procedures will be an asset.
