| Job Description | Our Client seeks to recruit a Logistics Manager to provide support to the Company through the deployment of logistic management services to include setting targets and re-order levels for raw material and packing material for the manufacturing operations.Responsibilities & Functions:Ensure the Company does not experience stock-outs of raw and packaging; zero tolerance.Ensure exports are properly documented and are shipped timely to ensure the customers’ needs are met.Manage the Company’s Authorized Economic Operator Status and ensuring that the practices required by this programme are stringently adhered to and properly recorded and stored.Co-ordinate with Managers or their designates to ensure all orders are received, shipped timely.Ensure all licences for exports and importation are properly maintained.Establish a relationship with the regulator.Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:BSc. in Logistics/ Supply Chain.5 years experience at a senior level with strong outbound export knowledge.Supervisory Experience.Good human relations skills and the ability to lead and motivate staff.Strong numerical skills.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other business software.Good time management and negotiation skills.Good human relations skills and the ability to lead and motivate staff.Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
